Eligibility & Recommendations
The NHS recommends COVID-19 vaccination for people most at risk of serious illness:
- Adults aged 65 and over
- Residents in care homes for older adults
- Frontline health and social care workers
- People aged 6 months to 64 with certain health conditions
- Household contacts of immunosuppressed individuals
- Pregnant women (at any stage of pregnancy)
Private COVID-19 vaccination is available for anyone who does not meet NHS eligibility criteria or who wants vaccination outside of the NHS campaign window.
