Flu is not just a bad cold. Influenza can cause serious illness, hospitalisation, and even death — particularly in vulnerable groups. The annual flu vaccination is the best protection available.
- Reduces risk of catching flu by 40-60%
- Significantly reduces severity if you do catch it
- Protects those around you, including vulnerable family members
- Takes about 2 weeks to build full immunity
- New vaccine each year to match circulating strains
